Physician Assistant to Dr. Constantine Demetracopoulos

Meghan Newcomer is a certified physician assistant licensed in the state of New York. A native Kansan, Meghan moved to New York City to attend the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University where she obtained an MPA. She worked at the National Institutes of Health and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center prior to earning her Master of Science in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants at Weill Cornell Medical College. As a Certified Physician Assistant, Meghan provides services that would otherwise be performed by physicians. Her responsibilities include assisting Dr. Demetracopoulos in surgery as well as seeing patients in the office. Meghan also routinely sees patients by herself during initial visits (for both chronic conditions as well as emergent injuries), for pre-op surgical planning, and routine post-op care.
