Dr. Jessica Rachel Starr is an endocrinologist with particular interests in women's reproductive health, bone health and menopause. She is an Assistant Attending Physician at HSS and is board certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine. Dr. Starr received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr. Starr trained as a fellow in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. During her fellowship, she trained with leaders in endocrinology and bone metabolism, conducted peer-reviewed research on the effects of Type 2 Diabetes on bone quality and had the privilege to be a Women's Health Scholar with Dr. Michelle Warren at the Center for Menopause, Hormonal Disorders and Women's Health.
